Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez received bad news about the injury of French defender Jules Conde.
Jules Conde was discharged after just 22 minutes of kick-off with muscle pain.
According to the Spanish radio “RAC1”, the French defender’s injury does not look good, and everything indicates that he suffers from a muscle rupture, and therefore he will miss participation with Barcelona for several weeks.
The news added, “Conde will return to Barcelona within hours, in order to undergo medical examinations and determine the extent of his injury, and they cannot do assessments until after the results of the medical examinations, but there is no optimism from Barcelona.”
The report indicated that Conde is likely to be absent from the El Clasico match against arch-rivals Real Madrid in the latter’s stronghold, Santiago Bernabeu, on October 16.
